Hailing from Eastern Washington, Amanda has always been passionate about art and storytelling, initially pursuing a course in Literature before graduating with her B.S. in Video Game Design. Approximately six months after completing her degree, in January 2016, she decided to hard-shift to a career in tattooing, and she immediately fell in love with the craft.
Amanda moved to Denver and joined the Dead Drift crew in Fall 2022, and so far she’s a big fan of both the city and her coworkers. She enjoys tattooing in a range of styles but is most drawn toward highly detailed black-and-grey illustrations, clean geometry, and microrealism. Her favorite subject matter are animals, insects, and lady faces, and she loves to create collage pieces with various surrealist elements. While she doesn’t do a lot of color work, she’s always down for a new challenge, so please send her your color ideas as well!
When she’s not tattooing, Amanda spends her time reading mystery thrillers, exploring the local art and music scenes, and keeping her friends up late chatting about anything and everything. She is a crossword enthusiast, certified cat lady, and 2000s emo kid at heart.
Amanda’s books are currently open, and she can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
